Who is this guy?
Hi there! My name is Ton Hanchai. I have been working in the design industry for a while now. Throughout my career, I have worked on a diverse range of design projects, spanning various industries like Fintech, Online Advertising, Online Education, GPS Devices, Home Automation & Security, Branding, Iconography, Digital Art, Gaming, AI and more.
Among my proudest accomplishments is being a part of the core design team that launched the first generation of the XBOX 360 'Blades' Dashboard. I also created the original MYNTZ! tin's logo, which is now considered vintage.
In the past, I held the position of Senior Interactive Designer and Product Technology Manager at Google. In this role, I oversaw a small creative team responsible for the design and development of custom dynamic remarketing ads, which have now become an integral part of Google Ads.
These days, I am taking on a Principal Interaction Designer position at McGraw Hill Education to craft awe-inspiring designs focusing on user interaction, while also sharing my knowledge by giving back to the Figma community, tending animals, table drumming, and hope that someday will have more time to fish 🎣 🐟.
Some Projects
I worked with Ton for over a year on several projects where he has demonstrated craft, patience, flexibility, learning and teaching, and new ways to help clients solve complex problems in a way that is smart and easily consumable to they are able to turn and explain/sell it to their leadership team. In my twenty years in the industry, I have rarely come across a designer who possesses as much drive to want to learn and just be better -- to constantly want to improve. Ton is always a pillar of reliability, especially when projects or work streams pivot (as they will do from time to time) and we need to adjust focus, he is there ready to own it.
